Information Services Consultant (Remote, Brazil)

About the role

This remote position supports the modernization of enterprise information governance and records management practices for organizations in Brazil. The consultant will design and implement structured classification frameworks, retention strategies, and compliant record‑keeping processes to improve information lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise records classification structures and retention schedules.
• Analyze business processes to identify records, retention triggers, and lifecycle requirements.
• Collaborate with business leaders, legal, privacy, audit, risk, and IT teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical governance models.
• Design and maintain classification taxonomies, metadata structures, and governance documentation.
• Identify information‑management risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support records‑governance initiatives across digital, hybrid, and traditional environments.
• Assist with records modernization, digital transformation, and migration from legacy processes to structured digital controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in information governance and records management.
• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, lifecycle management, and enterprise information practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a remote environment.
