Junior Key Account Manager – Government Sector

About the role

Alcatel‑Lucent Enterprise is seeking a Junior Key Account Manager to lead customer account management for networking solutions within the government sector in Mexico. You will act as the primary liaison, building trusted relationships and ensuring successful delivery of our cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for all account matters in the networking domain.
• Develop and maintain long‑lasting client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Negotiate contracts, close agreements, and drive profitability.
• Deliver solutions that meet customer objectives and track quarterly sales results.
• Prepare regular account status reports and forecast key metrics.
• Collaborate with internal marketing, channel sales, and business development teams.
• Assist with escalated client requests and coordinate with channel partners and support teams.

Required profile

• Up to 8 years of experience in account or key‑account management, preferably in telecom or networking.
• Strong local network with government customers in Mexico.
• Fluent English (mandatory) and a proactive, hunter‑type sales mindset.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail.
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or a related field.
