Junior Mobile Engineer (Brazil)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Mobile Engineer to join Sezzle’s fast‑growing fintech team in Brazil. You will work on a cross‑platform mobile app built with React Native and help deliver seamless, interest‑free installment experiences to millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features for the TypeScript React Native app and integrate with Golang backend APIs.
• Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags and app‑store infrastructure to ensure safe rollouts.
• Collaborate with product, design and business stakeholders to align development with user needs.
• Write clean, scalable, testable code and continuously improve code quality.
• Monitor application performance, data domains and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 6 months with React Native or a similar cross‑platform framework.
• Experience publishing apps to Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend development, JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native architecture.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL.
