Junior Product Support Engineer

About the role

Metso is looking for a Junior Product Support Engineer to join the MLE Sorocaba team. You will develop mill‑lining materials and their molds, supporting production and customer proposals while ensuring cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and model mill‑lining materials with wear inserts and reinforcements, producing detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Design and model production molds for synthetic mill‑lining products, including full drawing packages.
• Prepare, review and maintain technical documentation, assembly drawings and bills of materials.
• Manage drawing data in Metso systems, ensuring proper nomenclature and traceability.
• Adhere to Metso’s quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and other departments to verify manufacturing feasibility.
• Provide technical support for ongoing projects and meet established deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the department leader.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience creating models and manufacturing drawings.
• Understanding of metalworking processes such as machining, cutting, forging and bending.
• Knowledge of structural connections (welded or bolted).
• Familiarity with foundry processes is a plus.
