Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the reliability strategy for AI‑powered products at enterprise scale. Based in Brazil, you will design, build and evolve secure cloud infrastructure that supports mission‑critical systems where performance, availability and trust are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement platform reliability strategies, including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets and resilience practices for AI services.
• Design, build and maintain scalable cloud architectures on GCP (and optionally AWS) for distributed AI workloads.
• Create observability solutions to monitor system health, performance and AI‑specific behaviors such as model drift.
• Lead infrastructure automation using Terraform and manage container orchestration platforms.
• Establish production readiness standards and guide teams on reliable deployment practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of reliability, scalability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Significant experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering in large‑scale production environments.
• Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform; AWS experience is a plus.
• Proven track record implementing SRE principles, error budgets and incident management.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, failure scenarios and resilience engineering.
