Legal Counsel (Regulatory & Government Affairs)

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal team and support regulatory and administrative matters across 99's mobility and delivery businesses. The role works closely with the Government Affairs team, providing legal guidance on public sector engagement, institutional relationships, and regulatory topics.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support to the Government Affairs team on regulatory matters affecting mobility and delivery services.
• Draft, review, and negotiate partnership agreements with public authorities and government entities.
• Monitor and analyse legislative and regulatory developments relevant to ride‑hailing, delivery, and platform businesses.
• Support engagement with regulatory bodies, public agencies, and government authorities.
• Represent the company in administrative proceedings before secretariats, regulatory agencies, consumer protection bodies, and public prosecutor offices.
• Collaborate with the Litigation team on contentious administrative, public, and regulatory disputes.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable legal recommendations for internal stakeholders.
