Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage the movement of domestic and international goods for Halliburton’s operations in Brazil. The role involves coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and supporting cost‑effective logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute shipments by sea, air or land, adhering to legal and hazardous‑material requirements.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including packing, marking, labeling, and weight/dimension records.
• Coordinate pre‑shipping instructions and liaise with service providers and customers to track shipment progress.
• Utilize SAP and other logistics systems to record transactions, validate rates, and analyze performance data.
• Gather and analyze service‑provider data to support short‑term business needs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Completed two‑year degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of logistics experience, preferably with exposure to multiple transport modes.
• Knowledge of hazardous‑material handling and relevant certifications (IATA, IMDG) as required.
• Ability to work under direct supervision and collaborate with finance and accounting teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP and other logistics management systems.
• Understanding of international shipping regulations and constraints.
• Familiarity with IATA and IMDG certification requirements.
