Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Hardware team in São Paulo. You will turn product concepts into robust, manufacturable mechanical designs, creating detailed 3D models and 2‑D drawings that guide production and assembly of our IoT devices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D models and 2‑D drawings using CAD tools (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, etc.).
• Apply GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis to guarantee functional fit and reliability.
• Translate engineering requirements into clear technical documentation for suppliers.
• Review designs for compliance with standards, tolerances and best‑practice mechanical engineering.
• Collaborate with product, firmware, quality and manufacturing teams to resolve design challenges.
• Maintain CAD libraries, templates and drawing standards.
• Support prototype builds and update designs based on test results.
• Prepare technical packages for suppliers and ensure alignment with production capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding and casting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality standards.
• Advanced English and willingness to work in São Paulo.
