Mechanical Engineer – Entry Level

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support the design, construction and execution of maritime‑related mechanical projects at our Sao Paulo office. The role involves assisting senior engineers with inspections, research and ensuring compliance with regulations and best‑practice engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts for waterfront facilities such as marinas, container terminals, marine oil terminals and pump stations (sewer and storm‑water).
• Prepare equipment and material specifications, perform calculations, create data sheets and review drawings.
• Support the configuration and construction of material‑handling equipment.
• Assist with condition‑assessment inspections for oil & gas and utility infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least one year of experience in mechanical engineering design.
• Professional licensure is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as project needs dictate.
• Ability to work in a bilingual or multilingual environment is a plus.
