Mechanical Engineer

About the role

HMH is seeking innovative Mechanical Engineers with 3 to 10 years of experience to design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and components for drilling and related industries. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee execution of multiple projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Provide technical planning and decision support, defining project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Facilitate technical discussions, review drawings, calculations, and reports, and collaborate with project management, manufacturing, sourcing, electrical, and software engineering.
• Design and develop mechanical systems, products, and components using CAD software; conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing.
• Prepare technical documentation, ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines, and support prototyping and fabrication.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in drilling, offshore, or related sectors.
• Strong analytical abilities and solid understanding of engineering principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience leading projects from concept to completion is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software for mechanical design.
