Mid-Level Accountant Analyst

About the role

Super is expanding its Finance team in Brazil and is looking for a Mid-Level Accountant Analyst. You will support day‑to‑day accounting, monthly reporting, and tax compliance while contributing to process improvements in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily transactions, reconcile accounts and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Process invoices according to Brazilian VAT regulations and apply correct tax rates.
• Maintain the general ledger, prepare balance sheets and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Assist with local tax obligations, intercompany invoicing and monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and support internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or a related qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, finance or audit.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian VAT regimes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS) and PCBR/IFRS standards.
• Fluent Portuguese (Brazil) with solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Structured, able to balance multiple priorities and motivated to grow in accounting.
