Operational Account Manager

About the role

This role manages operational business relationships with global accounts, optimizes strategies and acts as a point of contact for customers and partners on operational issues. It supports project and account teams, takes part in contract negotiations, drives process improvements, and prepares reports for senior management. The position is full-time, based in Barueri.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational relationships with mid-sized to large accounts and support teams in designing customer solutions and optimizing processes.
• Analyze account financials to develop financial strategies that maximize profitability and ROI.
• Act as a contact for customers and partners on operational issues, concerns and escalations.
• Identify process gaps, advocate for improvements and implement changes to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management on strategic accounts, financial performance and operational excellence.
• Take part in contract negotiations with key customers or partners.
• Develop strategies for collecting, analyzing and acting on customer feedback.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, processes and project progress in line with regulations and standards.
• Identify and manage account and process risks to ensure business continuity.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technology, and guide junior team members.

Required profile

• Four-year or graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, or commensurate experience.
• Typically 4-7 years of experience, preferably in account management, business development, customer service or a related field; an advanced degree with 3-5 years of experience is also acceptable.
• Experience with global accounts.
• Ability to handle moderately complex issues within established guidelines.
