Operations Analyst – Admin & Finance

About the role

The Operations Analyst (Admin & Finance) will support the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN‑Habitat) Brazil office in delivering administrative and financial aspects of projects and initiatives. Reporting to the Head of the Brazil Office, the consultant will work closely with the Operational Team in Rio de Janeiro and UN‑Habitat headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Support the administrative and financial implementation of UN‑Habitat projects and initiatives in Brazil, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
• Assist in reviewing, strengthening and monitoring financial management processes, internal controls and financial procedures.
• Participate in budget planning, monitoring and revisions, tracking expenditures against approved budgets.
• Prepare and review budget revisions and financial reports for the Brazil office.
• Collaborate closely with the Operational Team in Rio de Janeiro and UN‑Habitat headquarters.

Required profile

• Reports to the Head of the Brazil Office and works under their supervision.
• Available for a six‑month consultancy with possible renewal.
