PMO – Project and Planning Management

About the role

We are looking for a PMO to own and govern enterprise project and portfolio management standards, ensuring strategic alignment and value realization across Ball’s initiatives, including the Fuel For Growth (FFG) program. The role operates with autonomy to define delivery frameworks, support portfolio decisions, and provide performance governance.

Key responsibilities

• Define, enforce, and continuously improve enterprise project planning standards and execution models across complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
• Govern formal escalation processes for the FFG program, ensuring timely decisions, clear role definitions, and accountability at leadership level.
• Monitor project execution quality, risk posture, and delivery health, intervening when performance thresholds are not met.
• Determine appropriate delivery methods (waterfall, agile, etc.) based on initiative complexity, risk, and strategic objectives.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver on quality, schedule, and business expectations.
• Maintain the portfolio governance system, providing assessments, prioritization scenarios, and investment trade‑off recommendations to senior leadership.
• Communicate changes and resolve cross‑functional delivery conflicts that impact portfolio outcomes.

Required profile

• Fluent English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; MBA in Project Management is a plus.
• Proven experience assessing delivery performance, risk exposure, and dependencies, and recommending corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of earned‑value‑management (EVM) metrics for governance and forecasting.
