Process Engineering Internship

About the role

Hitachi Energy Brasil is looking for a process engineering intern in Blumenau, Santa Catarina. The intern will work on process optimization projects and efficiency analysis, gaining practical experience and developing skills in the industrial field.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up projects at the factory, organize documentation and update documents
• Follow purchase requisitions and supplier registration
• Contribute to area improvement projects by identifying needs and proposing solutions
• Help engineers prepare transformers, reports and tests
• Prepare monthly results presentations and follow control spreadsheets
• Take part in strategies to share work instructions and safety documents, such as standards and procedures
• Support process improvements and develop tools when needed
• Support procurement of materials and tools and production schedules

Required profile

• Student in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or another engineering degree
• Intermediate level of English (mandatory)
• Spanish is an advantage
• Availability to work on-site in business hours in Blumenau

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• AutoCAD knowledge
