Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will shape and execute the procurement strategy for a specific sales market, ensuring alignment with regional guidelines and the Construction & Facilities (C&F) team. You will act as the market’s procurement expert, driving governance, performance measurement and stakeholder education.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and communicate the market‑specific procurement strategy in partnership with the Regional Procurement Specialist and C&F team.
• Manage strategic governance of market agreements, conducting regular follow‑up meetings with major vendors.
• Set procurement goals and KPIs, monitor results quarterly and annually, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date audits and assessments related to material and execution procurement.
• Draft and update documentation supporting the C&F team, collaborating with the legal department.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert, providing guidance on procurement matters across the organisation.
• Educate market teams on procurement processes and negotiation techniques.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in retail construction or facility management.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies in an international, matrix‑structured organisation.
• Procurement‑related certifications are a plus.
