About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Chemistry Teacher to join its bilingual campus in Itu. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging chemistry lessons, support student wellbeing, and collaborate with the academic and psychology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance, share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator, and prepare necessary classroom materials.
• Maintain up‑to‑date grade books, enter grades promptly, and design monthly assessments for each topic.
• Supervise playground duties, keep the classroom decorated with relevant educational materials, and record daily attendance.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues, including gifted learners.
• Participate in teacher meetings, institutional workshops, parent meetings, and school activities.
• Communicate openly with students and parents, encourage parental involvement, and organize community service or fundraising projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Chemistry, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an educational setting.
• Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity, inclusion, and the school’s core values.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools and intermediate‑level Microsoft Office.
