Project Management Senior Specialist

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a highly motivated Project Management Senior Specialist to lead installation and commissioning activities for complex, non‑standard or customized projects. The role combines technical expertise with strong planning, financial control, and customer‑facing skills to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead installation and commissioning for average‑complex, customized or non‑standard projects with unique technical or contractual requirements.
• Drive resource planning and control for medium to high‑impact, time‑critical deployments.
• Oversee project financial control, including forecasting, cost optimisation and managing deviations in customised contracts.
• Manage site non‑conformities through root‑cause analysis and preventive action planning.
• Act as the front‑line onsite leader, guiding teams, resolving escalated issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Review and validate technical documentation for customised solutions, ensuring alignment with contract specifications.

Required profile

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in installation, commissioning or complex field project management.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Italian is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to manage non‑standard, high‑complexity project scopes independently.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and customer‑facing communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and manage multiple high‑priority projects.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle, including scenario planning and cost control for complex projects.
