Project Manager (Web & Software Development)

About the role

Mad is seeking a Technical Project Manager based in Brazil to lead the planning, execution and delivery of web and software development projects for US‑based clients. The role combines Agile project management with close collaboration with developers, designers, QA specialists and stakeholders, requiring strong English communication.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee digital projects from inception to launch, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Facilitate daily communication with English‑speaking clients and internal teams, presenting status updates and managing expectations.
• Lead Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and adapt hybrid methodologies as needed.
• Maintain project documentation and track progress using Jira or similar tools.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while identifying and mitigating risks.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience managing website, platform, mobile app or software development projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Proven ability to work directly with development teams and deliver results for international clients.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Jira (or comparable project‑management tool).
• Asana, Slack and Google Workspace.
• Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Familiarity with WordPress, React, React Native or Shopify.
