QA Engineer – International Extensions & Tech

About the role

Amazon’s IES LATECH & GIS team in Belo Horizonte is looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of new international extensions and features for Amazon.com. You will work on both web and mobile platforms, collaborating closely with software development engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Review user interfaces for conformity, functionality and usability.
• Develop and improve testing strategies, frameworks and techniques.
• Identify, isolate, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Interpret and report test results, advocating for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Partner with Software Development Engineers to understand architecture and feature implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in quality assurance engineering.
• Proven experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Experience leading QA efforts on medium to large projects.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with an automated test framework such as Selenium or Appium.
• Ability to gather test requirements, create detailed test plans and define quality metrics.
• Proficiency in test case development, execution and bug tracking.
