Regional Financial Controller LATAM

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Financial Controller to support a leading electronics company across Latin America. The role will act as the bridge between local finance teams and headquarters, ensuring consistent reporting, tax compliance, expense control, and process alignment throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate regional finance matters across multiple Latin American countries.
• Monitor tax compliance and support the development of regional tax strategies.
• Follow up with local teams on tax filings, transfer pricing and other compliance requirements.
• Strengthen expense‑control mechanisms across subsidiaries, reviewing approvals and cost‑efficiency rationales.
• Analyze expense variations, identify financial risks and ensure timely, accurate financial data.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial analyses.
• Support external audit coordination in each country.
• Serve as liaison between regional finance teams and headquarters, communicating policies and key matters.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions with headquarters, including occasional evening sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in regional finance or multi‑country operations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Experience in tax planning, expense control, reporting and audits.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• English at C1 level; Mandarin Chinese required for one position; Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
• Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in multicultural, fast‑paced environments.
