Regional Payroll Lead (Food Ingredients), LATAM

About the role

IFF is looking for a Regional Payroll Lead for the Food Ingredients business across Latin America. The role leads the execution, implementation and stabilization of payroll operations as the Food Ingredients business transitions to a standalone organization, reporting to the Senior Director, Global Payroll. Brazil is preferred, though other locations can be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional payroll delivery against the global payroll project plan, managing country readiness, testing, risks, dependencies and milestones.
• Drive payroll readiness and transition activities across all countries, partnering with global payroll leadership, vendors and regional stakeholders.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations so they are accurate, timely, compliant and aligned with country-specific requirements.
• Lead and coach regional payroll resources, ensuring consistent service delivery.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors such as ADP and TMF, including service levels and contractual commitments.
• Act as the main escalation point for regional payroll issues and coordinate resolution across vendors, local teams and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, Controllership and business leaders on payroll inputs, outputs, funding, reporting and compliance.
• Support payroll controls, governance, SOPs and audit requirements, and monitor performance metrics and vendor performance to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive payroll experience with significant multi-country LATAM leadership responsibilities.
• Experience managing payroll vendors and local payroll teams, and supporting payroll implementations or transformations in complex multinational organizations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, controls, governance and country-specific practices across Latin America.
• Experience in unionized environments, collective bargaining agreements and statutory employment obligations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, and experience leading and coaching teams.
• Strong English and Portuguese.
