Remote Rust Developer for Decentralized Governance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Rust Developer to join our remote team and help build the Network Nervous System (NNS), a secure, decentralized governance layer for the Internet Computer. You will work on cutting‑edge blockchain infrastructure that powers token‑based governance and autonomous applications.

Key responsibilities

• Implement secure, decentralized governance mechanisms for the Internet Computer.
• Collaborate with development and research teams to integrate governance across system components.
• Develop proofs of security and contribute to the token system design.
• Design efficient endpoints and embed intelligent automation for node management and DDoS response.
• Build infrastructure enabling autonomous programs to run as decentralized applications.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of Rust.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building and operating large‑scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies (preferred, not mandatory).
