SAP MM/eWM Support Engineer (Evergreen)

About the role

Rimini Street, a global provider of enterprise software support and managed services for Oracle, SAP and VMware, is hiring a remote Support Engineer for SAP MM/eWM. The position is open to anyone in Brazil and involves providing remote support for mission-critical SAP applications, troubleshooting and delivering fixes for clients using both SAP 4.x and ECC environments.

Key responsibilities

• Solve complex customer issues through methodical troubleshooting of SAP applications
• Work closely with customers daily to understand their needs and support business change
• Configure, present and discuss best practices for the SAP eWM and MM modules
• Support client customizations and share best practices
• Develop or work with developers to deliver application break fixes for critical defects
• Use proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote client connectivity
• Contribute to a 24x7x365 support organization, working flexible hours
• Share knowledge, diagnostics and processes to improve the client experience

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant SAP experience, especially with MM/eWM modules
• 5+ years of direct support of application end-users in a corporate environment
• Proven experience with MM/eWM integration, troubleshooting and configuration
• Ability to support Brazil-specific localizations such as Nota Fiscal and tax calculation
• Experience in highly customized environments (Z routines, user exits, enhancements)
• Track record in documentation and knowledge transfer (runbooks, KT sessions)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
• Fluent English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus

Required skills

• MM/eWM modules, including integration, troubleshooting and configuration
• Knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architecture
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely

Preferred: SAP certifications, knowledge of multiple SAP modules across releases 4.x and ECC, country-specific solutions, consulting background, and experience with localizations and global implementations.
