Senior Accountant – Multi‑GAAP & Payroll Specialist

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in São Paulo. The role focuses on multi‑GAAP reporting, complex reconciliations, payroll accounting and data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multi‑GAAP accounting activities and ensure reconciliation between BRGAAP (CPC), IFRS and US GAAP.
• Execute and review monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations for cash, intercompany, accruals and taxes, investigating any discrepancies.
• Manage end‑to‑end payroll accounting, including provisions, benefits, taxes (INSS, FGTS, IRRF) and labor‑related accruals.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing processes, meeting deadlines with high accuracy.
• Use Tableau or similar BI tools to create dashboards and reports for senior management.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explaining complex accounting treatments.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve the efficiency of the accounting cycle.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• Deep knowledge of the differences between BRGAAP, IFRS and US GAAP.
• Advanced expertise in balance‑sheet substantiation and multi‑currency discrepancy resolution.
• Strong understanding of Brazilian labor laws and related accounting impacts.
• Advanced/Fluent English for daily interaction with global teams.

Required skills

• Tableau (or comparable business‑intelligence tool).
