Senior Accountant – Multi‑GAAP Reporting & Payroll

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a highly analytical Senior Accounting Analyst to join its finance team in São Paulo. The role focuses on maintaining the integrity of financial data across BRGAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP, leading month‑end closings, and delivering actionable insights through data visualization.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex accounting activities and ensure compliance across BRGAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
• Execute and review monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations for cash, intercompany, accruals, and taxes.
• Own end‑to‑end payroll accounting, including provisions, benefits, taxes (INSS, FGTS, IRRF), and labor‑related accruals.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing processes, meeting all deadlines with high accuracy.
• Use Tableau or similar BI tools to create dashboards and reports for senior management.
• Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations of complex treatments.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline manual reconciliations.

Required profile

• Solid senior‑level accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• Deep knowledge of differences between Local GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
• Advanced expertise in balance‑sheet substantiation and multi‑currency reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of Brazilian labor laws and related accounting impacts.
• Advanced/Fluent English for daily interaction with global teams.
