About the role
The Senior Application Engineer will provide technical consulting, product advice, and application reviews for customers worldwide. This remote‑first position supports customers in the food & beverage, automotive, and conveyor system markets.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate sales opportunities, review application data and determine product suitability and value proposition.
- Prepare formal proposals, quotations and technical support for standard, modified or special products.
- Deliver technical training and product presentations at customer sites.
- Provide on‑site support for conveyor installation, troubleshooting and premium service.
- Manage technical complaints, contribute to marketing activities and product literature.
- Collect Voice of Customer data, support product launches and line simplification.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7‑10 years of experience in application engineering or a similar role.
- Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with willingness to travel extensively.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
Required skills
- Mechanical engineering expertise.
- Knowledge of conveyor systems.
- Experience in Food & Beverage industry.
- Experience in Automotive industry.
