Senior Clinical Trial Manager (Brazil/Mexico, Remote)

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is looking for a Senior Clinical Trial Manager to join its team for Brazil and/or Mexico, working remotely. The role ensures the successful delivery of the clinical aspects of studies, manages the clinical part of the budget, develops monitoring plans, drives enrollment and coordinates with sponsors, vendors and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical portion of the budget to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Develop monitoring plans and tools and ensure effective study oversight.
• Train and mentor Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to optimise their performance.
• Drive enrollment and lead study start-up while meeting timelines.
• Review trip reports and implement corrective and preventative action plans when needed.
• Foster productive relationships with sponsors, vendors and cross-functional teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Clinical Trial Management position (CTM) at a CRO or pharmaceutical organisation.
• Bachelor's degree in health, life sciences or another relevant field.
• Strong experience in clinical trial management and CRA monitoring, including years of monitoring experience.
• Experience with complex or global trials is advantageous.
• Preferred: experience in Cardiovascular, Diabetes and Obesity, and also Immunology, Dermatology, GI and Respiratory.
• Preferred: experience managing trials from start-up to database lock, and coaching or leading a team of CTMs.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
