Senior Financial Accounting Manager – LATAM (PIPO)

About the role

The LATAM Senior Financial Accounting Manager will lead PIPO financial reporting and compliance across Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and Mexico. You will ensure alignment with local and international accounting standards while driving process improvements for our Global Payments business.

Key responsibilities

• Research accounting implications of business changes in collaboration with ByteDance’s headquarters in Hong Kong.
• Partner with global accounting and reporting teams to operationalize accounting for complex transactions.
• Coordinate with local accounting firms to complete monthly bookkeeping and ensure accurate GL accounting.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes, audit inquiries, and external auditor coordination.
• Drive process enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support the LATAM infrastructure portfolio.
• Collaborate with cross‑border and cross‑functional teams to manage end‑to‑end operational processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FinTech or payment companies, preferably within LATAM.
• Deep understanding of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate financial policies.
• Track record of implementing process improvements that deliver measurable efficiency gains.
• Strong ability to work with internal and external partners at all levels.
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency required.
