Senior IT Product Owner - BI & Analytics Enablement

About the role

As a Senior IT Product Owner for BI & Analytics Enablement, you will design and govern a self‑service analytics framework that empowers business domains to create their own reports and data products on top of Bosch's central Databricks platform. You will ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and efficient, bridging the gap between central IT and business users.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business domains on best practices for using central data products and define BI architectures, providing hands‑on support for critical short‑term requests.
• Establish and enforce design, security, and performance standards for the Databricks consumption layer and its integration with downstream BI tools.
• Collaborate with the Databricks Product Owner to co‑design “report‑ready” data products, optimizing platform capabilities such as Unity Catalog.
• Create templates, reference architectures, and training materials to drive adoption of self‑service analytics across a global community of analysts and power users.
• Own the technical and logical interface between Databricks and Power BI, defining optimal connectivity patterns and resolving performance bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a BI Architect, BI Consultant, or IT Product Owner focused on enterprise‑scale analytics.
• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to translate complex business needs into a sustainable self‑service BI framework.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, acting as a credible bridge between central IT teams and diverse business stakeholders.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
