Senior Manager, Tax Brazil

About the role

The Senior Manager, Tax Brazil will lead the optimisation of The Coca-Cola Company’s tax profile in Brazil, covering corporate income tax, indirect tax and controversy matters. The role combines strategic tax planning, compliance oversight and audit coordination while working closely with global tax, treasury and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify Brazil tax issues, assess their local and global impact, and develop planning and structuring solutions.
• Coordinate with M&A, Treasury, Legal, Controllership and other functions to ensure tax implications are properly reflected in transactions and financial statements.
• Support the Senior Director, Brazil Tax in proactive collaboration across Tax, Treasury, Controller’s Group and operational finance.
• Ensure compliance with Free Trade Zone requirements and manage related tax incentives.
• Lead tax audits, develop audit strategies, and align stakeholders including bottlers.
• Draft responses to tax authority inquiries, audit requests and judicial appeals.
• Serve as the local point of contact for transfer pricing reporting and align with global transfer pricing teams.
• Monitor tax law changes, maintain an up‑to‑date compliance overview and communicate risks to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law or accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of Brazilian corporate income tax, indirect tax and tax controversy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to solve complex problems independently.
