Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with in-house roles at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia, including startups, digital agencies and tech platforms in SaaS, MarTech, FinTech and EdTech. It is looking for a Senior SEO Specialist with deep expertise in technical SEO, content strategy and performance analytics, able to take full ownership of SEO strategy and execution in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and traffic
• Conduct advanced keyword research aligned with business goals and search intent
• Lead on-page and technical SEO optimisations (site structure, indexing, Core Web Vitals)
• Perform detailed SEO audits and implement improvements
• Collaborate with content teams on SEO-optimised content
• Manage backlink strategies and authority-building campaigns
• Monitor performance with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs or SEMrush
• Analyse competitors and identify growth opportunities in SERPs
• Stay up to date with algorithm changes and report regularly to stakeholders

Required profile

• 4+ years of SEO experience, preferably in SaaS, eCommerce or digital agencies
• Proven success improving rankings, organic traffic and conversions
• Experience managing or mentoring junior SEO team members is a plus

Required skills

• Technical SEO: site audits, schema markup, crawling and indexing
• SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and website architecture
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow and Shopify
