Senior Workday Financials Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Workday Financials Consultant at Aspire, you will join the Finance Solution Delivery team to configure, maintain, and enhance Workday Financials. You will work across multiple financial domains, providing both production support and project‑based implementation while partnering closely with Finance stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, support, and maintain Workday Financials across several domains.
• Act as a flexible utility player, prioritising work based on business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and system defects promptly.
• Design and implement scalable solutions that promote long‑term platform health.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into system configurations.
• Drive ongoing enhancements, optimisations, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of financial system changes.
• Contribute to backlog reduction and improve responsiveness to Finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday Financials.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end financial processes within Workday.
• Experience supporting both production support and project‑based implementations.
• Ability to work independently in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving and systems‑thinking abilities.
• Proven experience across multiple financial domains, especially Financial Accounting, Expenses, Business Assets, and Banking & Settlement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage directly with business stakeholders.
