Social Media Manager

About the role

The Walt Disney Company is looking for a Manager, Social Media in Brazil to lead editorial strategy and real‑time fan engagement across its entertainment brands. You will act as a key voice on social platforms, building community, driving conversation, and supporting marketing, creative, PR, and franchise teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the brand’s social media strategy, ensuring consistent tone of voice and platform positioning.
• Monitor cultural trends, audience behavior, and conversations to identify opportunities for always‑on and social‑first content.
• Define and manage reporting frameworks, track KPIs such as engagement rate, sentiment, share of voice, and community growth, and deliver actionable insights.
• Translate insights into impactful campaigns, oversee promoted content, and collaborate with creative and franchise teams for major launches.
• Manage real‑time engagement on TikTok, Meta platforms, X, YouTube, and other key channels, fostering a positive community presence.
• Support influencer activations and event coverage to reinforce a fan‑first brand identity.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading social media strategy for entertainment or consumer brands.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across marketing, creative, PR, and business teams.
• Passion for storytelling, fandom culture, and building engaged online communities.

Required skills

• Experience with social media platforms (TikTok, Meta, X, YouTube) for community management.
• Data‑driven reporting and KPI analysis.
