Software Engineer - Applied AI

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer focused on Applied AI to join Belvo’s Intelligence Squad. In this role you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI‑driven products, from rapid prototyping to production deployment, helping fintech teams embed intelligent capabilities into their services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype and evaluate AI models and agents that power internal tools and customer‑facing features.
• Build, deploy and operate AI services in production, ensuring reliability and observability.
• Develop shared infrastructure such as agent abstractions, evaluation tooling and guardrails to accelerate future AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional squads to integrate AI components into fintech workflows.
• Iterate quickly on MVPs, gather user feedback and refine solutions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience delivering AI products in a fast‑moving environment.
• Comfort with rapid MVP development and continuous delivery practices.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work remotely with distributed teams.
