Software Engineer, Applied AI

About the role

Commure is building an AI Operating System for healthcare and seeks a Software Engineer to join its Revenue Cycle Management AI team in Brazil. You will develop and ship production AI features that automate core financial workflows such as claims submission, remittance posting, and document extraction.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical direction of the RCM platform by proposing architectural improvements.
• Build end‑to‑end products that revolutionize revenue cycle management for providers.
• Own integration workflows from design through deployment and post‑launch monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize tasks.
• Improve system reliability, observability, performance, and scalability.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive architectural enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in frontend languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Proficiency in backend languages: Python, Go, C++.
• Experience with Git, GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of relational and non‑relational databases and monitoring/alerting tools.
