Software Engineer

About the role

HMH is seeking Software Engineers with 3‑10 years of experience to support upgrade, deployment and development of its drilling automation and digital solutions. The role involves delivering software projects on time, collaborating in a team‑focused environment, and contributing to the design, testing and maintenance of networked applications.

Key responsibilities

• Support front‑end software design and UI/UX development for commercial database and cloud systems.
• Develop automation tools to improve code quality and streamline development.
• Lead deployment and update processes from QA through production, both on‑premise and in the cloud.
• Apply frameworks for high‑performance SCADA, drilling, big‑data mining and RM&D UI applications.
• Configure and support networking hardware, drivers and remote‑access scenarios.
• Provide DevOps support for continuous maintenance and improvement.
• Define, create and implement APIs, interfaces and tools for data consolidation, visualization and asset management.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, deadline‑driven environment.
• Experience with front‑end development, deployment pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills applied to industrial automation contexts.
