About the role

Belmond is launching a world‑class wellness destination at the iconic Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro. The Spa & Wellness Manager will lead the pre‑opening, launch and ongoing operation of this luxury spa and wellness concept, shaping a holistic strategy that blends spa treatments, fitness, nutrition and transformative guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full pre‑opening process, including design, staffing, budgeting and operational set‑up.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive wellness strategy that integrates spa, fitness, movement, nutrition and guest experience programs.
• Lead, mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary team of therapists, trainers, nutritionists and support staff.
• Manage commercial performance, pricing, cost control and revenue growth.
• Ensure service standards meet the highest luxury hospitality expectations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in luxury spa and wellness environments.
• Track record of successful pre‑opening projects and facility launches.
• Strong commercial and operational expertise.
• Passion for wellness innovation and exceptional guest experiences.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
