Specialist, Implementation

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Specialist, Implementation to join its Customer Implementation Services team in Brazil. You will act as the primary liaison for customers during the end‑to‑end execution of payment processing implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for customers and Mastercard representatives throughout processing implementation projects.
• Assess, document, and communicate customer requirements and the impact on Mastercard’s core and non‑core processing platforms.
• Provide advisory support to customer processing teams, guiding them through all implementation activities.
• Define scope, plan, and drive implementation projects using Mastercard’s global project coordination methodology.
• Ensure processing interfaces comply with Mastercard’s product rules and specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive end‑to‑end impact analyses for multiple concurrent projects.
• Execute standard and non‑standard testing processes, focusing on technical processing interfaces.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Strong ability to interact with customers and convey complex technical concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a teaching mindset.
• Proven project management capabilities.
• Good knowledge of electronic payment processes such as authorization, clearing, and settlement.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑changing, ambiguous environment.
