Staff Attorney – São Paulo (Full‑time)

About the role

The São Paulo office of Linklaters is hiring a full‑time Staff Attorney to support its transactional practice. The position is aimed at recent Brazilian law graduates (class of 2022‑2026) who are fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and can attend the office four days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Take initial instructions from internal or external clients and delegate tasks to trainees where appropriate.
• Conduct legal research, due diligence and information management.
• Draft and review transactional documentation, applying firm precedents and market standards.
• Advise clients under supervision and participate in calls and meetings.
• Monitor market trends, propose solutions to current issues and anticipate future challenges.
• Debrief matters at key stages, organise documentation and project plans.
• Coordinate with business teams, manage supplies and providers as needed.
• Network to generate new business opportunities and contribute to knowledge‑bases.
• Coach less‑experienced colleagues and provide clear performance feedback.

Required profile

• Brazilian law degree, graduation year between 2022 and 2026 (LL.M candidates not accepted).
• Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
• Willingness to work on‑site four days per week.
• Strong interest in transactional law and a proactive, commercially‑minded attitude.
• Team player who can motivate others and innovate practical solutions.
