Supervisor Airport Services

About the role

The Supervisor Airport Services ensures smooth ground operations for Emirates at GRU, handling operational disruptions, coordinating service providers, and maintaining high customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and mitigate operational issues such as over‑bookings, weather delays, and crew limitations.
• Brief handling agents, caterers and other providers on Emirates requirements and update information as needed.
• Oversee post‑flight activities to protect revenue and manage dead‑load handling.
• Process baggage claims, damaged baggage replacements and lost baggage reimbursements.
• Support the Emirates Ticket Desk and perform ticketing/reservation duties.
• Coach and develop airport services agents, conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Verify credit cards and travel documents, and assist in lounge duties when required.
• Liaise with service providers and supervise contracted staff for catering, cleaning and maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of airline industry experience.
• Completed professional training in Customer Services and Ground Operations.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Reservations, Fares and Ticketing systems.
• Experience with Departure Control Systems.
• Knowledge of Baggage Tracing and claims handling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Email.
