Supply Chain Consultant

About the role

The Supply Chain Consultant acts as a tactical planner responsible for driving and managing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) over a 4‑24 month horizon. The role ensures capacity and resources are aligned with the agreed demand plan, guaranteeing product availability for customers while maintaining inventory at target levels.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in global planning projects and consolidate production plans for assigned product groups.
• Generate and place purchase orders through designated systems, adhering to inventory policies.
• Monitor receipt and approval of local and imported materials in collaboration with Quality Assurance and Warehouse & Distribution.
• Lead the Monthly Demand Review meeting, presenting demand assumptions, trends, and variances.
• Analyze slow‑moving inventory, propose corrective actions with finance, and support inventory reduction.
• Track KPI results for the product portfolio, identify deviations, and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, GMP, SOP, HSE, and Code of Conduct requirements.
• Support life‑cycle activities such as launches, transfers, and divestments.
• Maintain master data in the ERP system and act as the point of contact for the GOCA process.
• Manage backlog and backorders, communicating directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee third‑party workforce (customs brokers, warehouse contractors), handling onboarding, task assignment, performance monitoring, and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain planning with a focus on tactical horizons (4‑24 months).
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, GMP, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders and manage third‑party contractors.
• Analytical mindset for KPI monitoring, demand review, and inventory analysis.
