Supply Chain Manager – Brazil

About the role

Invenergy is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for its Brazil operations. The role leads procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier management to ensure material availability, cost discipline, and operational reliability across all assets in Brazil.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Brazil supply chain strategy in line with global policies and local O&M needs.
• Act as a strategic partner to Operations and Asset Management to support turbine availability, reliability, and lifecycle cost goals.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the Brazil supply chain team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee sourcing, purchasing, and contracting for spare parts, services, consumables, major components, and tooling.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, including OEMs, ISPs, logistics providers, and critical local vendors.
• Drive competitive sourcing processes (RFP/RFQ), negotiations, and contract execution following Invenergy governance.
• Define and implement spare parts and inventory strategies, balancing availability, working capital, and obsolescence risk.
• Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring accurate controls, traceability, and system integrity.
• Manage domestic and international logistics, customs clearance, taxes, tariffs, and duties while ensuring compliance with Brazilian regulations.
• Identify supply chain risks related to lead times, customs delays, or regulatory changes and implement mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian import/export regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic supply chain plans aligned with business objectives.
• Experience managing supplier performance, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Track record of mentoring teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
