Technical Internship – Aircraft Maintenance (MRO)

About the role

This on‑site technical internship offers students enrolled in aircraft maintenance, mechanics or mechatronics programs the chance to gain hands‑on experience in helicopter MRO operations at Helibras in Itajubá, Brazil. The role lasts for a minimum of two years, 30 hours per week, and provides exposure to both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with scheduled inspections and preventive/corrective maintenance of helicopters.
• Support removal and installation of fairings and access panels.
• Prepare, organize, and clean standard and specialized tools, ensuring calibrated equipment is available.
• Apply 5S standards and FOD prevention practices to maintain a tidy work environment.
• Help fill out Work Orders and consult manufacturer technical manuals (AMM, IPC) for inspections and parts identification.
• Assist in towing helicopters within the hangar and apron, and maintain aircraft cleanliness and organization.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a technical program for Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanics, or Mechatronics.
• Available for an on‑site internship of 30 hours per week for at least two years at Helibras Itajubá.
• Internal candidates must adhere to the company’s “Golden Rule.”
