Vice President of Retention & Lifetime Value

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for owning the full lifecycle of customer value, from the first purchase through long‑term retention and loyalty. Based in Brazil, the VP will shape how customers are engaged, retained, and reactivated across every channel and touchpoint.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end LTV performance as the primary KPI and define the lifecycle and retention strategy.
• Build and operationalize advanced segmentation and personalization systems for all lifecycle stages and channels.
• Embed AI‑driven workflows into marketing, reporting, creative production, and optimization processes.
• Lead, mentor and scale a team of Director‑level and senior lifecycle leaders.
• Expand and test new retention and engagement channels beyond email/SMS, such as direct mail, WhatsApp, and social messaging platforms.
• Partner with ecommerce, CX, performance marketing, and brand teams to align retention strategy with growth objectives.
• Support subscription and loyalty initiatives by improving cancellation flows, save strategies, and membership value propositions.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in retention, lifecycle marketing, loyalty or subscriber growth, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record of materially improving LTV, retention or subscription performance at scale.
• Experience in high‑growth DTC subscription businesses.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to operate at both high‑level and hands‑on.

Required skills

• Deep expertise with subscription platforms such as SKIO, Recharge or Ordergroove.
• Hands‑on experience with marketing tools like Klaviyo and Postscript.
• Practical experience using AI to automate workflows, reporting, segmentation or lifecycle optimization.
