Account Manager – Brazil

About the role

The Account Manager will support the Country/Regional Head in managing and expanding the company’s presence in Brazil. This role focuses on driving sales of API and FDF products, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to overall business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage existing accounts and assist in achieving sales targets in the Brazil market.
• Support the Country/Regional Head in closing new business transactions and seeding new products.
• Act as secondary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, DRCs, and pricing strategies for API and FDF businesses.
• Coordinate with CX, Production, QA, Regulatory, and Logistics teams to guarantee timely product delivery.
• Liaise with Regulatory Affairs to ensure product compliance and registration in Brazil.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs using export data, IQVIA/IMS data, and other intelligence.
• Support contract negotiations, collaborate with Legal and Regulatory teams, and ensure timely execution of agreements.
• Maintain regional MIS, customer databases, forecasts, budgets, and prepare business reviews and management presentations.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in API sales and business development, preferably with exposure to the Latin American/Brazil market.
• High‑energy, positive attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and support negotiations and commercial closures.
• Leadership, strategic thinking, innovative mindset, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Experience in consultative selling and understanding of customer psychology and purchasing behavior.
