Accountant – Controllership (Brazil)

About the role

JLL is looking for an Accountant to join its Controllership team in Brazil. You will be responsible for the full billing cycle, tax compliance, and supporting accounts‑receivable activities within a fast‑moving real‑estate services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end service invoice billing, ensuring compliance with Brazilian tax legislation and JLL policies.
• Maintain and update electronic service invoice (NFS‑e) processes, including municipal registrations and digital certificates.
• Monitor tax reform changes, assess impact on billing, and adjust processes accordingly.
• Calculate, withhold, and record taxes such as ISS, PIS, COFINS, IRRF, CSRF, INSS, and related withholdings.
• Support accounts‑receivable by resolving billing discrepancies, assisting with aging analysis, and preparing billing status reports.
• Record issued invoices and related taxes, and contribute to month‑end close activities.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation and accounting standards.
• Experience with electronic service invoice issuance and related municipal requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to review billing documents and ensure tax accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate with controllers, operations, and cross‑functional teams.
