Accountant

About the role

Foundey is looking for a full‑time remote Accountant to manage daily financial operations and support the company’s growth in the SaaS and AI startup space. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
• Monitor compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Reconcile accounts and oversee payroll processing.
• Support internal and external financial audits.
• Collaborate with design, product, and technology teams to provide timely financial insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of tax compliance, budgeting, and audit processes.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and excellent organizational skills.
• Full English fluency.
• Understanding of GAAP or IFRS; CPA or other certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in compliance or governance roles is advantageous.
