Accounting & Finance Controller – Brazil

About the role

The Accounting & Finance Controller will lead the accounting, finance and tax coordination functions for MIR Brazil. Reporting to the Managing Director Brazil and dotted‑line to the Group CFO, the role offers high visibility and the chance to shape financial processes in a fast‑growing medical‑device subsidiary.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate transaction recording in SAP.
• Review and approve journal entries, manual postings, and bank reconciliations.
• Drive the monthly closing process and guarantee timely, reliable financial reporting.
• Coordinate tax compliance activities and liaise with external tax advisors.
• Identify and implement process improvements, working closely with SAP consultants and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounting, finance controlling and Brazilian tax regulations.
• Hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a lean, fast‑growing environment.
• Excellent analytical and business‑partnering skills, comfortable interacting with senior leadership.
• Proven experience managing finance functions and leading continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for accounting and financial reporting.
