Accounting Manager – São Paulo, Brazil

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the financial, accounting and budgeting strategy for our São Paulo operations. This hybrid role combines hands‑on accounting work with managerial oversight of treasury, invoicing, banking relationships, audits and the company’s investment policy.

Key responsibilities

• Support the treasury team in investment strategies while managing liquidity and cash‑risk.
• Monitor fundraising plans and optimise the capital structure.
• Prepare reliable current and forecast reports for five subsidiaries in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Lead and coordinate annual audits together with top external audit firms.
• Drive the implementation and ongoing monitoring of a new ERP system for the finance department.
• Ensure compliance with BACEN regulations and internal company policies.
• Oversee all accounting ledgers, reporting systems and monthly closing processes, delivering timely reports to headquarters.
• Identify process levers to improve accounting operations and establish KPI dashboards for financial and operational control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or a related field.
• Fluent in Spanish; advanced English is a plus.
• Experience in regulated financial services or payments, with exposure to BACEN.
• Proven track record leading yearly audits and implementing ERP solutions.
• Self‑motivated, change‑oriented and capable of leading teams.
